Reach Regulation

Regarding the limits foreseen by the REACH Regulation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation of Chemicals) for chemical substances, we must remember that the tanning sector, as manufacturer of articles (not chemical substances), must only communicate the presence of SVHC (Substances of Very High Concern) to its clients only in the case in which these two conditions contemporarily recur
- are included in the ECHA approved list (main REACH agency) and published on the relative website: www.echa.europa.eu
- are included in the quantity over 0.1% article. Regarding the notification obligation of all substances subject to authorization present in the >0.1 (w/w) concentration articles, we declare that there is no substance to be notified at the moment and we would like to communicate that we will take care of notifying if our articles should present substances that are included on the full list of the REACH XIV attachment that will shortly be updated. It is not the duty of article manufacturers (tanneries) to register substances and their uses. In the quality of downstream user, La Veneta Tannery S.p.A. will collaborate with its suppliers to guarantee registration in 2010-2018 of all substances used by us.
